Heungjin Chung received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the KAIST in 1995. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Northwestern University (1996–1997). In 1998, he moved to Jeonju University and was promoted to Professor in 2007. His research topics mainly include FRP Reinforced Structures, Structural Health Monitoring, and AIoT in Structural Engineering.
