Rob Sutton is a final year Postgraduate Researcher at Liverpool John Moores University. He  is a member of the International Association for the Study of Scottish Literatures and also the British Association for Romantic Studies. His research focusses upon Scottish Highland identity, the diaspora of Highland people and the dissemination of Highland culture as presented in the work of the early-nineteenth century writer Anne MacVicar Grant (1755-1838).
