Fei Xie received his Ph.D. in Engineering from Taiyuan University of Technology. He is currently a master’s supervisor and lecturer at Taiyuan University of Technology. His research interests include biological water treatment, microbial electrochemistry, and waste resource utilization. He has presided over vertical scientific research projects including the Shanxi Basic Research Program Youth Scientific Research Project (Shanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology), Shanxi Higher Education Science and Technology Innovation Program Project (Shanxi Provincial Department of Education), Shanxi Higher Education Science and Technology Innovation Program Project (Shanxi Provincial Department of Education), etc., and he has participated in many national and provincial key projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation (General Project), Shanxi Key R&D Program Project, Shanxi Social Development Science and Technology Research Program Project, China Clean Development Mechanism Fund Project (CDM), and Macau Science and Technology Development Fund Project. He has presided over many horizontal projects such as Shanxi Zhengyang Wastewater Purification Co., Ltd., and Shanxi Wastewater Treatment Technology Service Co., Ltd. He has published more than 30 high-level academic journal papers and obtained three authorized national invention patents.
Li Ji is a professor and master’s tutor at the School of Environment and Resources at Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. She was a visiting scholar at Auburn University in the United States and Hirosaki University in Japan, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council. Her research interests include water pollution control, environmental bioremediation
technology, and aquatic plant resource utilization and evaluation. She has presided over and undertaken more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanxi Provincial Key R&D Plan Projects, Selective Funding Projects for Scientific and Technological Activities of Returned Overseas Students, and Enterprise Horizontal Projects. In recent years, she has published more than 30 high-level professional academic papers. She has authorized two national invention patents and published one monograph.
