Prof. Qiong Zhang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at Zhejiang University. She received her PhD from the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2006). From 2006 to 2008, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences at Zhejiang University. From October 2012 to April 2014, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Maryland, USA. She is committed to exploring the characteristics of children’s cognitive development and the factors affecting their plasticity from multiple aspects, such as individual children, families, and schools. She focuses on how to understand, promote, and optimize children’s development. Her main research interests include exploring the plasticity of children’s executive functions and their significance in education and clinical practice, as well as focusing on the impact of parenting on children’s cognitive and social development.
