He completed his first undergraduate degree in the Mathematics Teaching Program at Selçuk University Faculty of Education and his second undergraduate degree in the Special Education Teaching Program at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Education. He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in the Department of Special Education at Anadolu University. Between 2011 and 2016, he worked in various fields under the Ministry of National Education. From 2016 to 2024, he served as a research assistant at the Anadolu University Institute for Disability Studies. His research primarily focuses on specific learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and cognitive skills. Among his notable works are the development of the Early Signs of Learning Disabilities Screening Scale and the preparation of the book Processing Speed and Number Sense Kit.
He received his bachelor's degree in 2003 from Çukurova University, Faculty of Education, Philosophy Teaching Program. He completed his master's degree in 2008 and his doctorate in 2013 in the Special Education for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities program at Anadolu University, Institute of Educational Sciences. In 2020, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Special Education—Education for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. Between 2003 and 2007, he worked as a teacher in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. From 2007 to 2014, he served as a lecturer at Pamukkale University, Faculty of Education. Since 2014, he has been working as a faculty member at Anadolu University, Institute for Disability Research. His research interests include assessment in special education, early childhood special education, and specific learning disabilities.
