Dr. Yang Yu received a B.S. in Software Engineering and an
M.S. in Agricultural Informatization from Henan Agricultural University in 2014
and 2017, respectively. He received a Ph.D. in Agricultural Mechanization
Engineering from China Agricultural University in 2021. Currently, he is an
assistant researcher at Harvesting Equipment Research Institute, College of
Agricultural Engineering, Jiangsu University. He won the championship of the
Advanced Division of the ASABE Robotics Competition in 2018. His first prize in
the China Agricultural Robotics Innovation Competition in 2021. His research
interests include intelligent visual perception and precision operation of
fruit and vegetable picking robots and specialty crop harvesting technology and
equipment.
Dr. Chenlong Fan received a B.S. from the College of
Engineering, Huazhong Agricultural University in 2017. He received a Ph.D. from
the College of Engineering, China Agricultural University in 2022. Currently,
he is a lecturer at the College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering,
Nanjing Forestry University. He has published more than 20 papers in various
journals. He recently led the Project “Research on kernel threshing and
crushing mechanism based on the online inversion of corn cob mechanical impact
and kneading loads”. His research interests include Corn, threshing, machine
learning, harvester, picture processing, and deep learning.
