Dr. Alberto Aragón Muriel is associate professor at the University of Magdalena, Santa Marta, Colombia. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Chemistry at the University of Valle (Cali, Colombia) and completed his doctoral stay at the Institute of Chemistry of the UNAM in Mexico. He has experience in the certification and accreditation of testing laboratories and in the Inspection and Surveillance of events of interest to public health in food and water. He worked as a Tecnoparque expert in the line of Biotechnology and Nanotechnology at SENA Regional Valle. His research includes publications in the area of medicinal chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, coordination and organometallic chemistry, as well as studies of interaction with biomolecules by in vitro and in silico methods.
