Prof. Dr. Zhong Han currently serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Food Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Engineering at Xiangtan University, China, in 2004; his Master’s Degree in Sugar Engineering at Guangxi University, China, in 2007; and his Ph.D. in Sugar Engineering at South China University of Technology, China, in 2011. From September 2009 to September 2011, he was funded by the China Scholarship Council to conduct joint doctoral research at the School of Chemical Engineering, Monash University, Australia. His research topics mainly include application technologies of physical fields (such as microwave and high-intensity electric fields) in food and bioengineering industries.
Prof. Dr. Feifei Feng is now an associate professor at the College of Public Health, Zhengzhou University. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the School of Public Health of Zhengzhou University in 2006 and 2012, respectively. From 2010 to 2012, she conducted co-doctoral research at the Duke University Medical Center. From September 2015 to September 2016, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Immunology at Duke University. Her research interests mainly include the environmental toxicology of air pollutants, new pollutants, climate, etc.; mechanisms and treatment of chemical carcinogenesis; and stem cells and nutrient interventions.
