Isaac F. Céspedes-Camacho received his PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the Universidad de Salamanca (Spain). After working as a postdoc at Universität Leipzig (Germany) and Universiteit Leiden (The Netherlands), researching solid-state NMR and hyperpolarization methods, he began his permanent position at Tecnológico de Costa Rica (Costa Rica). His main research areas are i) the synthesis and application of silica aerogels in environmental matrices and ii) hyperpolarization methods in low field NMR. He is member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the International Society of Magnetic Resonance (ISMAR).
