Dr. Haoran Chu received his Master’s in Journalism, Media, and Communication from Cardiff University in 2015 and his PhD in Communication from the University at Buffalo in 2019. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Relations and the Graduate Coordinator for Science and Health Communication. Dr. Chu is also an Affiliate Scholar with the Internal Communication Research Hub. His research focuses on public health, risk communication, and the role of artificial intelligence in health interventions.
