Dr. Sohaib Shujaat is a distinguished professional in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and as a Visiting Researcher with the OMFS-IMPATH Research Group at KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium. Dr. Shujaat completed his Master of Science (MSc. Dent Sci) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Glasgow Dental School and Hospital, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Earlier in his career, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (formerly University of Dammam), in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. During this time, he also served as a Specialist (Registrar) in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at King Fahd Hospital of the University. To further enhance his academic and professional expertise, Dr. Shujaat earned his PhD in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from KU Leuven, Belgium.
