Author Biographies

Iryna V. Pikh received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Information Technologies from Lviv Polytechnic National University in 2004 and a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree from the Ukrainian Academy of Printing in 2019. She is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Virtual Reality Systems and concurrently as a Professor at the Department of Automated Control Systems, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University. Her research interests include the study and development of methodological foundations of information technologies for the formation and predictive quality assessment of technological processes, functional modeling of business processes, the development and optimization of automated control systems, and simulation modeling using fuzzy logic.
Vsevolod M. Senkivskyi is a Professor and Doctor of Technical Sciences, a Professor at the Department of Computer Technologies in Publishing and Printing Processes at Lviv Polytechnic National University, and a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. He leads the scientific school "Information Technologies for Designing Processes of Printed and Electronic Publications" and has supervised 17 Ph.D. dissertations. For five years, he was a member of the Expert Council on Industrial Engineering of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine. He has been the long-time Head of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technologies. He has published over 300 articles, including 15 monographs focused on modeling technological systems and processes. His research interests are aimed at expanding the tools of factor analysis for technological processes, developing and testing software, and improving the theoretical foundations of the information concept for the formation and predictive quality assessment of publishing and printing processes.
Liubomyr S. Sikora received a Bachelor’s Degree in Trunk Communication from Lviv Telecommunications Technical School of USSR Ministry of Communications in 1963, a Master’s Degree in automation, Telemechanics from Lviv Polytechnic National University in 1975, and Philosophy of Doctorate Degree in Information and Measurement Systems from USSR Academy of Sciences Institute of Physics and Mechanical Sciences in 1992, as well as, a Doctor of Technical Sciences from Ukraine Academy of Sciences State Research Institute of Information Infrastructure in 2001. He is currently working as a Full Professor at the Department of Automated Control Systems, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University. His research areas include integrated hierarchical control systems, digital signal processing, management activity cognitive components, information technologies in complex systems
Nataliia K. Lysa received a Master’s Degree from Ivan Franko Lviv National University in 1994, a Philosophy of Doctorate Degree in Information Technologies from Ukrainian Academy of Printing in 2012, and her Doctor of Technical Sciences from Lviv Academy of Printing in 2019. She is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Automated Control Systems, Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies, Lviv Polytechnic National University. Her research areas include web cyber security, trend forecasting and process modelling analysis, information and telecommunication management technologies, information technologies in ecology and medicine
Alona V. Kudriashova is a Doctor of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Virtual Reality Systems at Lviv Polytechnic National University. In 2024, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty "Information Technologies". The dissertation topic was "Methodological foundations of information technologies for the post-printing processes formation and quality assessment and the book interest level". In 2020, she became a laureate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Scholarship for Young Scientists. In 2018, she received the Regional Award for Young Scientists and Researchers for scientific achievements that contribute to socio-economic transformations in the region and reinforce the high reputation of scientists from the Lviv region in Ukraine and the world. She was also awarded a diploma from the Lviv Regional State Administration (Lviv, Ukraine). Her research interests include factor analysis, functional modeling of business processes, simulation modeling and forecasting, the application of neural network technologies for process automation, and the development and optimization of automated control systems.
