Dr. Yang Li is an Associate Professor at the School of
Chemical Engineering, Ocean, and Life Sciences at Dalian University of
Technology. She received her PhD from Liaoning Normal University (2011). From
December 2011 to March 2016, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. From January to February 2018,
she visited the University of Leicester in the UK for teaching. From December
2019 to November 2020, she was a visiting scholar at the Technical University
of Berlin in Germany. She is engaged in research in computational chemistry and
machine learning, mainly focusing on studying transition metal catalysis
mechanisms, characterization of novel aromatic systems and parameter
development, and machine-learning algorithms for catalyst design and reaction
prediction.
