Dr. Kayode Oshinubi is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems at Northern Arizona University, USA, and the co-founder of the Black in Mathematics Association. Before joining Northern Arizona University, he was a visiting researcher at Oxford University, UK (January 2022–August 2022), and then at Bielefeld University, Germany (November 2022–January 2023). He obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Ekiti State University, Nigeria, in 2013, his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, in 2015, and his Ph.D. from the Université Grenoble Alpes, France, in 2022. Dr. Oshinubi’s research interests include respiratory and vector-borne infections, health equity, biostatistics, machine learning, data analysis, statistical analysis, infectious disease modeling, data modeling, biomathematics, mathematical modeling, epidemiology modeling, computational epidemiology, and public health. He is a member of several scientific societies, including the Institute of Applied Mathematics, UK, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Region 8 (Computer
science section), the International Society of Engineers (IAENG), the Society of International Computer Science and Engineering Society (ICSES), the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), etc.
