Prof. Dr. Jian Zhang is a professor and deputy director of the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering Science at Hohai University. He is the backbone of the Huang Danian-style teaching team in universities across the country and has been selected for the Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology’s Young Scientific and Technological Talent Support Project and the Hohai University’s “Dayu Scholars” talent program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and a master’s and doctoral degree in bridge and tunnel engineering from Central South University. He is mainly engaged in scientific research in low-carbon intelligent construction of geotechnical and underground engineering. He has presided over eight vertical projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, China Postdoctoral Foundation, and Jiangsu Postdoctoral Foundation, and five horizontal projects. He won one first prize, four second prizes, and one third prize in provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards. He has authorized more than 30 patents and software copyrights, co-edited two monographs, and published more than 50 SCI and EI papers. He is a member of the World Transport Congress-Underwater Tunnel Design and Construction Division.
Prof. Dr. Zuocai Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Civil Engineering, Hefei University of Technology. He is the vice dean of the Graduate School of the Hefei University of Technology and director of the Discipline Construction and Evaluation Office, a recipient of the National Excellent Youth Fund, and a “Hu Bing Scholar” professor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in bridge and tunnel engineering from Central South University, and a doctorate in structural engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. He has achieved certain innovative results in both basic theoretical research on bridge structure health monitoring and major engineering application needs. He has presided over and participated in more than 30 related scientific research projects, including four National Natural Science Foundation projects, one sub-project of the National Key R&D Program, and one sub-project of the 12th Five-Year National Science and Technology Support Program. He has published 120 papers of various types, including more than 50 papers in internationally renowned journals, and has been granted nearly 20 national invention patents. He has also edited or participated in the editing of five national industry standards and provincial and ministerial standards.
Prof. Dr. Tugen Feng is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Hohai University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan. He is a candidate for a major national talent program and is currently serving as deputy director of the National Engineering Research Center for Efficient Utilization and Safety of Water Resources and deputy secretary-general of the Taihu Water Science Research Institute. He is a member of the International Soil Association, executive director of the Jiangsu Society of Mechanics, and chairman of the Jiangsu Geotechnical Mechanics Professional Committee. He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research related to soil dynamics and engineering earthquake resistance, dam engineering, and foundation engineering, as well as application work in major projects. He has presided over and undertaken many national and provincial scientific research projects. He has published more than 80 papers indexed by SCI and EI in famous journals such as the Canadian Geotechnical Journal and the Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering and has been granted more than 30 invention patents. He won two first prizes and two second prizes in ministerial science and technology progress awards.
