Eduardo Duque holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid since 2008 and obtained the Habilitation in Sociology from the University of Minho in 2004. He is a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a researcher at the Communication and Society Research Centre at the University of Minho. His research areas include generations, social trajectories, contemporary values, and social time. His latest book, co-authored with José F. Durán Vázquez and published in 2024, is titled “Youth's Work and Youth Facing Work”. He was awarded the Extraordinary Prize of the Complutense University of Madrid.
José F. Durán Vázquez has a PhD in Sociology and a degree in Sociology, Geography and History and Political Science.
He is Professor of Sociology at the University of Vigo.
His research is oriented to analyze the genealogy of ideologies and the processes of transformation of the forms of legitimization, integration and construction of identities in the worlds of work, education consumption and religion. She also analyzes the influence that all this has on the representations and experiences of time, on the relationship between generations and on the reproduction of societies.
