Mohamed Iguernane obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakesh, Morocco, in 2002. He began his academic career as a Teaching Fellow at Cadi Ayyad University (2003–2004) before pursuing a postdoctoral position at the Elie Cartan Institute in Nancy, France (2004–2005). Following this, he held a temporary teaching and research position at Nancy University in France from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, he joined King Khalid University in Abha, Saudi Arabia, where he served as a Professor until 2018. Since 2018, he has been a Professor at Ibnou Zohr University in Taroudant, Morocco. Additionally, he was a Visiting Professor at Qatar University in Doha from 2021 to 2023. Professor Iguernane's research interests span a variety of fields, including partial differential equations, numerical analysis, optimization, bifurcation, topological theory, statistics, data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), and deep learning.
Mourad Ouzziki received his Master's Degree in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence from the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Taroudant, University Ibnou Zohr in 2024. He is currently working as a freelancer on data analyst and data science projects. His research topics mainly include Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.
Youssef ES-SAADY is a Professor at the Polydisciplinary Faculty of Taroudant, Morocco, and a member of the IRF-SIC Laboratory at Ibnou Zohr University. His recent research spans several initiatives involving AI, Big Data, and IoT, with a particular focus on their applications in engineering education and precision agriculture.
Mohamed EL HAJJI is a Professor at the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions in Souss Massa, Morocco, and the head of the project "Smart Class for Smart Adaptation and Recommendation" (CISAR). His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and engineering education. HIs recent work focuses on several projects involving AI, Big Data, and IoT in engineering education, precision agriculture, Edu-Metaverse, and ChatBots. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and served as a PC Member and referee for various international journals. He has also been a member of the organizing committee for several international conferences.
Prof. Aziza Lansari received her Licence in Biology from Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakesh, Morocco, in 2010, followed by a Master’s Degree in Ecology in 2012 and a Ph.D. Degree in Conservation Biology in 2018 from the same institution. She is currently a professor in the Department of Sciences and Techniques at the Faculté Polydisciplinaire, Taroudant Ibn Zohr University, Agadir, Morocco. Her research interests include herpetology with a focus on Moroccan amphibians and reptiles such as snakes, lizards, and frogs, covering areas such as biogeography, conservation biology, distribution, tissue sampling, and population monitoring.
Abdellah Bouazza is a Professor and Researcher at the Department of Sciences and Techniques, Faculté Polydisciplinaire, Taroudant Ibn Zohr University, Agadir, Morocco. He completed his PhD in Ecophysiology and Conservation Biology at Cadi Ayyad University, Marrakesh, Morocco, and has made significant contributions to herpetology, with a focus on Moroccan reptiles.
His research aims to enhance the understanding of the ecological dynamics of Morocco's diverse desert and Mediterranean species while assessing the impacts of human activities on these ecosystems. He has recently led projects addressing human–snake conflicts, including studies on snakebites, venomous snake distribution, and snake charming practices.
He has published numerous papers and serves as an expert in conservation biology for various research initiatives. His teaching disciplines include biodiversity, climate change, and wildlife conservation, while his interests span reptile ecology, biogeography, and population monitoring.
