Author Biographies

Adeel Iqbal is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Yeungnam University, South Korea. He specializes in Information and Communication Engineering. He completed his bachelor's degree at the FUUSAT in Islamabad and later earned his master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad. During his time at COMSATS, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Adeel's research primarily focuses on next-generation cellular networks, including CR, D2D, NTN, IRS, and vehicular networks. In addition to his work in wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, machine learning, and control systems, he is also involved in research on green and renewable energy.
Ali Nauman received an M.Sc. degree in wireless communications from the Institute of Space Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2016 and a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea, in 2022. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea. He has contributed to five patents and authored/co-authored 4 book chapters and more than 50 technical articles in leading journals and peer-reviewed conferences. The main domain of his research is in the field of artificial intelligence-enabled wireless networks for tactile healthcare, multimedia, and industry 5.0.
Yazdan Ahmad Qadri received the B.Tech. and M.Tech. (Dual) degrees from L.P. University, India, in 2016, and a Ph.D. from Yeungnam University, South Korea, in 2023. He was previously associated with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Kyung Hee University, South Korea, as a Post-Doctoral Associate between March 2023 and February 2024. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, College of Digital Convergence, Yeungnam University. His research interests include resource allocation in IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks, artificial intelligence, and enabling Medicine 5.0.
Sung Won Kim received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Control and Instrumentation Engineering at Seoul National University in the Republic of Korea in 1990 and 1992, respectively, and his Ph.D. from the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at Seoul National University in the Republic of Korea in August 2002. From January 1992 to August 2001, he was a researcher at the Research and Development Center of LG Electronics in the Republic of Korea. From August 2001 to August 2003, he was a Researcher at the Research and Development Center of AL Tech in the Republic of Korea. From August 2003 to February 2005, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, USA. In March 2005, he joined the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Yeungnam University in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Republic of Korea, where he is currently a professor. His research interests include resource management, wireless networks, mobile computing, performance evaluation, and machine learning.
