Prof. Fadi Aloul received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and Dean of Engineering at the American University of Sharjah. Prof. Fadi Aloul is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and the founder of several cyber security awareness initiatives in the UAE, including the UAE's Cyber Academy. Prof. Fadi Aloul has received a number of awards, including the Global Engineering Deans Council Airbus Engineering Diversity Award, Khalifa Award for Higher Education, Sheikh Rashid Award for Outstanding Scientific Achievement, Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Young Arab Researchers, AUS Excellence in Teaching Award, and the Semiconductor Research Corporation Fellowship.
