Ivan Morozov is a junior researcher at the Institute of Geology of Ore Deposits, Petrography, Mineralogy and Geochemistry of the Russian Academy of Science (IGEM RAS). He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2017 and a master's degree in 2019 from the Faculty of Geology of Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2019, he joined the graduate school of IGEM RAS. His main research interests include low-radioactive waste, waste facilities, highly concentrated solutions and clay mineral transformations.
Victoria Krupskaya is a leading researcher at the Institute of Geology of Ore Deposits, Petrography, Mineralogy and Geochemistry of the Russian Academy of Science (IGEM RAS). She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Lithology in 1996 and a master's degree in Sedimentology in 1988 from St. Petersburg University. In 2002, she received her Ph.D. in geology and mineralogy from the same institution. She is the President of the Russian Clay Group, which is affiliated with the International Association for the Study of Clays. Her research interests include montmorillonite, engineered barriers, bentonite clays, thermochemical treatments, structural modification and adsorption properties.
