Sunmin Kim earned a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy from the Korea National University of Transportation in 2023. They are currently an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Gimcheon University. Prof. Kim holds certification as a specialist in orthopedic manual therapy, having completed over 375 hours of related coursework. They have received awards, including Best Paper honors, at both domestic and international academic conferences, such as in Croatia at the CONy conference. Prof. Kim is also a clinical instructor for the Orthopedic Manual Therapy Association. Prof. Kim's research focuses on brainwaves and functional intervention methods for patients with neurological disorders, and they are developing virtual reality-based and smart insole-based intervention platforms.
