Prof. Fei Liu obtained her B.S. in Physics at the
University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2004, and a Ph.D. in
Biophysics at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in the USA in 2010. From
2010 to 2012, she was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of California
Berkeley. In 2012, she returned to China and has become a professor at the
College of Veterinary Medicine, Nanjing Agriculture University (NJAU) since
then. She was the winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund and many other
distinguished awards. Her research areas and descriptors include
single-molecule study of the molecular mechanism of RNA metabolism and
single-molecule technique-based portable on-site detection of pathogens,
toxins, heavy metals, etc.
