Dr. Takalani Judas Mpofu is a senior lecturer at the Department of Animal Sciences, Tshwane University of Technology, South Africa. He received his Master’s degree in Agricultural Management from the University of Limpopo in 2016 and a PhD in Animal Production from Tshwane University of Technology in 2020. Dr. Takalani Judas Mpofu’s research focus is mainly on an interdisciplinary approach to animal health, animal breeding, and genetics, with a specific emphasis on studying genetic resistance to diseases and parasites, and the development of genetic testing kits for resistance in livestock.
