Juan Chen joined the School of Marine Sciences at Ningbo University in 2009 and
is currently a Professor. She earned her Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees, both
from the Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University in 2000 and 2009, respectively,
and was a visiting scholar at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Environment
Research Institute (NERI) from 2013–2014. Her main research areas include liquid
chromatography-mass spectrometry method development; separation and analysis
methods of functional substances; and algal stress-resistance defense mechanisms.
