Marija Gaurina is a physics and computer sciences teacher at the Technical and Industrial High School Ruđer Bošković in Sinj, Croatia. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Research in the Education of Natural and Technical Sciences at the Faculty of Science, University of Split. With over 15 years of teaching experience, she has been actively involved in various international STEM workshops, conferences, and educational projects. Marija has received several awards from the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education for her contributions to innovative teaching and STEM education. She is a member of the Croatian Physical Society and the Croatian Interdisciplinary Society. Her research interests include gamification in physics education, the use of conceptual mind maps, and diverse representations in teaching physics.
