Maurice Emelu, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Digital Media and Communication and the Director of the Master of Science and Graduate Programs in Digital Marketing and Communication Strategy at John Carroll University, USA. His research interests include stories on digital platforms such as social tech, social media, online communities, and the intersection of tech, culture, and religion. His published works draw from mixed methods that combine quantitative and qualitative approaches in frame analysis, sentiment analysis, survey, digital storytelling (DST) methods, content analysis, ritual theory, and aesthetics.
Brent Brossmann, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Tim Russert Department of Communication at John Carroll University. His research focuses on rhetoric, methods of persuasion, and public speaking. His work explores the techniques and strategies used in effective communication and how these can be applied in various contexts to influence and engage audiences, utilizing various methods in rhetorical research.
