Dr. Hongbo Zou currently works as an Associate Professor at the College of Electrical Engineering and New Energy, China Three Gorges University, Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory for Operation and Control of Cascaded Hydropower Station. He obtained a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Automation at Three Gorges University, then he enrolled in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics to study for a doctorate in intelligent monitoring and control. His main research directions are power equipment monitoring, fault diagnosis, detection technology, information processing, etc. His recent research work is planned to be carried out on power equipment monitoring and fault diagnosis based on new detection technology.
