Changmin Shi is a postdoctoral research associate at the School of Engineering at Brown University. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2023 at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, supervised by Professor Eric D. Wachsman, his Master's degree from Columbia University in 2019, and a B.Eng. from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2017. His research aims to tackle pressing challenges at the energy--environment nexus in the context of artificial intelligence, energy-dense solid-state batteries, and thermal management systems.
