Yanxiu Wang graduated from the Gansu Agricultural University and received her B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. After graduation, she joined the same university as an Assistant Researcher and is now a Professor at the College of Horticulture. Her research interests include adversary physiology and molecular biology of fruit trees, as well as the collection and identification of fruit tree germplasm resources. She has won the second and third prizes for scientific and technological progress in Gansu Province and the Outstanding Teacher in Gansu Province prize.
