Prof. Belay Simane is an Associate Professor at the Center for Environmental Science Studies, Addis Ababa University. He earned his PhD in Agronomy and Environmental Sciences from Wageningen Agricultural University in 1993. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Natural Sciences and Journal of Crop Sciences, is a member of the Ethiopian Climate Change Delegation, and contributes to the Steering Committee of the Small-Grants Programme, UNDP. His research focuses on ecosystem-based climate change analysis, exploring mitigation and adaptation options, community-based watershed management, and environmental management systems.
