Hendaf N. Habeeb earned his MSc in Planning and Managing Forestry using Remote Sensing and GIS from the University of Duhok in 2014 and is currently working toward his PhD in the same field. From 2010 to 2021, he served as a planner at the Directorate of Forests and Ranges in Duhok, Forestry and Rangeland, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, Iraq. His primary research interests focus on forest management, planning, geoinformatics, GIS, and remote sensing.
Yaseen Taha Mustafa earned his PhD in Applied Remote Sensing from the Department of Earth Observation Science at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), University of Twente, The Netherlands, in 2012. From 2017 to 2023, he served as Vice President for Scientific Affairs at the University of Zakho. Currently, he is the Head of the Applied Remote Sensing and GIS Center at the University of Zakho, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. His primary research interests encompass applied remote sensing, GIS, machine learning, spatial statistics, and Bayesian networks.
