Dr. Lihua Niu earned her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Henan University of Science and Technology in 2012, followed by a Master’s degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering from Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology in 2014. She completed her PhD in Structural Engineering at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology in 2020.
Since 2020, she has been serving as a lecturer at the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower. Her research interests include the durability of concrete and masonry structures, structural engineering, engineering earthquake resistance, and elastic-plastic seismic response analysis of building structures.
