Oscar Antonio Puerta Aviles. a Geographer, has a Master's degree in Geography and is a University Professor at the University of Córdoba Colombia, Department of Geography and Environment Undergraduate Program in Geography and is a member of the Geography and Environment research group belonging to the Caribbean Geographic and Environmental Research Institute—GeoCaribe, as a Coordinator of the Geography Studies Workshop research. Research lines of interest include theory, epistemology and geographic methods, spatial organization and territorial prospectives, natural resources and environmental sustainability, spatial analysis, and geographic information technologies. Currently, he is a member of the board of directors of the Colombian Association of Geographers ACOGE.
Dr. Juan Jiménez-Caldera is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at the University of Córdoba (Colombia) and a faculty member in the Master's Program in Geography at the same institution. He earned his Ph.D. in Sustainable Planning in 2024 from the University of Granada. His research focuses on urban and territorial planning, landscape analysis, sustainable development, and geoinformatics. With a strong academic background and practical experience, Dr. Jiménez-Caldera is committed to advancing innovative approaches for spatial analysis and the integration of geoinformatic tools in sustainable territorial management.
Prof. Dr. Andrés Caballero-Calvo is a Professor at the Department of Regional Geographic Analysis and Physical Geography, University of Granada. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Granada in 2015. From 2017 to 2020, he was a Professor at the Universidad del Norte. His research interests include landscape, soil management and crops, protected areas, territorial planning and management, and territorial development.
