Dr. Anastasios A. Economides is a Full Professor at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece. He is among the top 2% of researchers worldwide. He completed his Ph.D. and M.Sc. studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California, and has been awarded many fellowships and awards. He recently led projects on digital skills and AI applications in education. He has published more than 150 papers in various journals. His teaching disciplines include e-commerce, digital marketing, computer networks, and his research interests include open and digital education, innovative technologies (generative AI, augmented reality, robotics) in education.
