Author Biographies

Dr. Ali Haider Bangash is an aspiring neurosurgeon-scientist at the forefront of integrating computational science with neurosurgery. After graduating with an MBBS from the Shifa College of Medicine in Pakistan, he gained valuable clinical experience as a House Officer, rotating across various departments at the Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad, Pakistan. As the founding lead of the Hhaider5 Research Group, Dr. Bangash pioneers the application of current state-of-the-art automated machine learning to develop predictive and prognosticative algorithmic models for central nervous system ailments. He is a research associate at the Spine Research Group, Montefiore–Einstein, where he undertakes outcome research on spine oncology and socioeconomic disparities. He holds a stellar publication record that showcases his skills in conducting thorough literature reviews, analyzing complex data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Notably, his work has been recognized through invitations to present at esteemed international conferences including the Asian Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS). He also serves as a peer reviewer for several esteemed journals in neurosurgery and related fields.
