Author Biographies

Mr. Spike Murphy Müller started his medical studies at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in Germany in 2021, officially finished the pre-clinic in 2024, and is now pursuing his approbation as a physician, which is scheduled for early 2028. He further started as a doctoral candidate in the field of medicine at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in the Institute of Biochemistry and Signal Transduction and joined the Working Group Signaltransduction in Cancer under the supervision of Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Manfred Jücker. His current research interests are focused on the src homology 2 domain-containing inositol 5-phosphatases SHIP1 and SHIP2. The Working Group is further focused on the investigation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and signal transduction, as well as cancer biochemistry and oncology. Since October 2024 he is also pursuing a bachelors degree in Molecular Life Sciences at the MIN-Faculty of the University of Hamburg (UHH).
