Kallol Naha currently is a PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Idaho, USA. He earned his BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, and MS degree in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain. His current research interests include databases, bioinformatics, human/computer interactions and web intelligence. He is a member of ACM SIG.
Dr. Hasan M. Jamil is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Idaho. He completed his BS.c. and MS.c. degrees in Applied Physics and Electronics at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh (1982 and 1984, respectively), and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Concordia University, Canada (1996). He was previously on the faculty of Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia; Mississippi State University, USA; and Wayne State University, USA. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, the ACM Special Interest Group on Management of Data, and the IEEE. His areas of research interest include databases, AI, knowledge representation, natural language processing, bioinformatics, materials science, scientific computing, and learning technology. His current research is funded by the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, and the US Department of Energy.
