Dr. Aysun Gürol graduated from Gazi University’s Faculty of Vocational Education, Department of Child Development and Education, in 1986. She worked as a teacher in the Child Development Department for 15 years at İskilip Girls' Vocational High School and Elazığ Girls' Vocational High School. In 2002, she completed her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2003, she began working as an Assistant Professor in the Preschool Education Program at Fırat University’s Faculty of Education. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2015 in the field of Curriculum and Instruction. In 2011, she joined Yıldız Technical University’s Preschool Education Program, and she is currently the head of the Preschool Education Department at Istanbul Okan University. With extensive experience in vocational education, Dr. Gürol’s career has spanned decades, during which she has contributed to shaping curricula and fostering vocational skills development. Her lifelong dedication to vocational education and child development aligns with the principles of goal-setting and work-domain preparedness, critical for both educational and professional success. Dr. Gürol has published articles, conference papers, and books in the fields of preschool education, child development, curriculum development, and vocational training. Dilek Ilhan-Fındıkoğlu completed her undergraduate studies in English Language and Literature at Istanbul University and earned a postgraduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Yıldız Technical University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Educational Sciences at Boğaziçi University. Her academic career began as an instructor at Bezmialem Vakıf University, and she later held a lecturer position at Istanbul Aydın University. Since 2015, she has been a lecturer at Yıldız Technical University in the Department of Educational Sciences, where she has been teaching various courses in educational theory and practice since 2022. Her research focuses on curriculum development, lifelong learning, educational sciences, and quantitative methodology, with specific expertise in assessing and validating the psychometric properties of educational instruments. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gürol graduated from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Ankara University’s Faculty of Educational Sciences in 1987. In 1988, he began his career as a research assistant in the Department of Educational Sciences at Fırat University’s Faculty of Technical Education. He became an associate professor in 1997 and was promoted to professor in 2023 in the field of curriculum and instruction.From 2008 to 2011, he served as the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Fırat University. Between 1997 and 2022, he held the position of department head in the Department of Educational Sciences and the Division of Curriculum and Instruction. In 2011, he joined Yıldız Technical University’s Department of Educational Sciences in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction, where he continues to work today.Prof. Dr. Gürol’s research focuses on curriculum development and evaluation, educational technology, and teacher education. Fuat Fındıkoğlu holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching from Yıldız Technical University (2010) and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the same institution, where his research focused on the psychometric properties of educational instruments. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences at Boğaziçi University, his doctoral work centers on measurement and assessment in education, particularly insufficient effort responding, a key area in educational data accuracy. Since 2011, he has served as a lecturer, initially at Istanbul Aydın University’s School of Foreign Languages and, since 2013, at Yıldız Technical University. As of the 2023 fall semester, he has been teaching in the Department of Foreign Languages Education at the Faculty of Education, where he delivers courses on curriculum development, educational assessment, and measurement. His published research in psychometrics underscores his contributions to educational evaluation and supports instrument adaptation for more precise assessments. His academic and professional background contribute to developing assessment tools tailored to diverse educational contexts, ensuring relevance and methodological rigor within Turkish higher education. Mehmet Yeşilkaya holds a BA in Turkish Language from Atatürk University, an MA in Turkish Language from Yüzüncü Yıl University, and a PhD in Philology from Istanbul Medeniyet University. An expert in Turkish linguistics, he has made substantial contributions to the phonetic, morphological, and syntactic analysis of Turkish dialects, particularly in Southeastern Anatolia. His extensive background in Old Anatolian Turkish, Ottoman Turkish, and Modern Turkish Language, combined with his research in dialectology, has played a crucial role in language adaptation studies, ensuring cultural and linguistic precision in Turkish academic research. Dr. Yeşilkaya’s work includes creating classifications for dialects and archiving dialect data through detailed phonetic and morphological studies. His published works appear in national and international indexed journals, covering topics such as Turkish dialectology, translation studies, bilingualism, and semantics. His deep familiarity with Turkish academic research and linguistic heritage enhances his contributions to the field. He currently serves as director of the Gaziosmanpaşa Science and Art Center, where he continues to support advancements in Turkish linguistics and education.
