Alberto Di Prizio is a management engineer with a solid academic background and significant experience in industrial research and consulting. He obtained a Master's Degree in Management Engineering at the University of Salento, obtaining top marks with honors. In his thesis, he explored the potential of digital technologies, such as Digital Twin (DT), for the optimization of industrial maintenance systems. Alberto collaborates with the “Defind” group of CoreLAB, participating in research projects of international relevance, including “SCENARIOS”, which is focused on environmental sustainability and the development of innovative solutions for environmental remediation. He also contributed to projects such as “AVIS - Automated Visual Inspection” in collaboration with GE Avio Aero, developing methodologies based on Computer Vision techniques to improve industrial inspection processes. His skills range from environmental analysis to the circular economy, from CAD/CAM design to robotic simulation, up to the application of advanced algorithms for visual inspection. Alberto is the author of scientific publications and has participated as a speaker at international conferences, including the 26th International Conference on Enterprise Information Systems (ICEIS 2024). He is passionate about digital technologies and predisposed to work in multicultural teams. In his free time, he dedicates himself to MTB cycling, freediving and music, finding inspiration in nature and art.
