Prof. Guo Cao received his PhD in pattern recognition and intelligence systems from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2006. Since 2007, he has been a professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing, China. From 2012 to 2013, he was a visiting scholar with the Department of Radiology, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA. From 2016 to 2017, he was a visiting scholar with the Department of Geography, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, where he focused on change detection. His research interests include machine learning, remote sensing image processing, and biometrics.
