Dr. Emanuele Agolini is currently working as a senior molecular geneticist in the Laboratory of Medical Genetics of Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, Italy. He has experience with next-generation sequencing and variant interpretation for the diagnosis of rare constitutional and acquired diseases. He collaborates in the identification of new genes associated with specific clinical phenotypes. He has worked at the University of Chicago as a senior laboratory scientist for the implementation of pharmacogenomics into clinical practice. He obtained a PhD in medical genetics from the University of Rome, La Sapienza. Currently, he is following the Medical Genetics Residency Program at the University of Tor Vergata.
