Daniel de Oliveira is currently Head of the
Minerals Resources and Geophysics Research Unit of LNEG and is an Economic
Geologist with an interest in the mineralogy and geochemistry of mineral
deposits and (critical) raw materials for the energy transition and outreach opportunities.
He has worked/is working with several teams on nationally, EU-, and internationally
funded projects dealing with these topics and has also led and coordinated projects
of this nature. His research has taken him from Europe to Africa and to the
Americas.
