Author Biographies

Dr. Haenim Lee, PhD, serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Social Welfare and Counseling at Dongguk University in South Korea. Her research interests center on understanding the profound effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) on individuals' health and overall well-being. She is deeply involved in exploring the intersections of health disparities, the health and developmental outcomes of children and adolescents, and the human rights of minority populations. Dr. Lee completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Boston College's School of Social Work. She also served as a T-32 Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, where she furthered her expertise in health disparities and child and adolescent health research.
