Mr. Ehtisham Shafique is a Research Associate and Master's student at the Department of Biological and Health Sciences, Pak Austria Fachhochschule, Haripur. He completed his Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences at PAF-IAST, and has been placed on the Dean's List of Honors. He recently completed his final year project on an investigation of genetic neurological disorders in consanguineous families. He has published three papers and two book chapters in various journals, and served as a visiting researcher and internee in various research projects at renowned institutions in Pakistan. His teaching disciplines include molecular biology and human genetics, and his interests include Genetic disorders, hemoglobinopathies, and genome editing.
