Prof. Hong Yan received her master’s and doctorate degrees at the Department of Environmental Toxicology, Tongji Medical College in 1995 and 1998, respectively. After graduation, she worked as a lecturer at the School of Public Health, Tongji Medical College from 1998 to 2000, then she joined the Huazhong University of Science and Technology as an Associate Professor. She became a professor in 2017. Her research interests are the relationships between chronic exposure to food pollutants and neurodegenrative & metabolic disorders.
