AMAR RASHEED is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Computer Science, Sam Houston State University. He previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow with the Information Science and Technology Division of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL), Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include sensor modeling and data collection algorithms, efficient data collection schemes for wireless sensor networks, energy-efficient sensor data gathering mechanisms, secure mobile sensor data communication model design, cybersecurity systems, cybersecurity risk assessment, IoT security, vehicular network security, hardware security, embedded system security, CAN bus authentication, and data security and analysis.
