Nikaeta Sadekar,
Ph.D., DABT, is a Senior Scientist leading the respiratory endpoint for fragrance
safety assessment and research program at the Research Institute for Fragrance
Materials (RIFM). She obtained her MS in Pharmacotherapeutics (2010) and Ph.D.
in Toxicology (2017) at St. John’s University. Her professional skillsets
include scientific communication and human health risk assessment. Her current
research interests are associated with developing alternative methods to animal
studies using in vitro and in silico tools.
Dr. Sadekar is engaged in various collaborations across the scientific
community for developing the RIFM Respiratory Science. Communicating scientific
projects to a broad audience is part of her role and responsibilities at RIFM.
She has co-authored many peer-reviewed publications and is a reviewer for
internationally reputed scientific journals.
