Ewelina
Szendzielorz, M.A., is an employee of the Department of Experimental
Dermatology and Cosmetology at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in
Krakow. She obtained her master's degree from the Medical University of Lodz in
2005. In 2017, she completed her postgraduate studies in trichology at the
University of Engineering and Health in Warsaw. Between 2019 and 2022, she was the
president of the International Association of Clinical and Aesthetic Trichology
ICATA based in Krakow. Her research focuses on analyzing the effect of
substances used in skin and hair care products and checking their effectiveness
in scientific studies.
Prof. Dr. Radoslaw Spiewak is a Professor and Head of the Department of Experimental Dermatology and Cosmetology at Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland. He earned his Ph.D. at the Medical University in Lublin in 2003. He is the co-founder and director of development at the Institute of Dermatology in Krakow. He has been awarded the Howard I. Maibach Award, the EAACI Exchange Research Fellowship Award, and the Albert M. Kligman Fellowship. His research focuses on diseases from the spectrum of dermatitis and eczema, in vivo and in vitro diagnosis of allergies, mechanisms of contact hypersensitivity, photoallergy, and phototoxicity. He is also interested in skin physiology, as well as hair and nail disorders.
