Dr. Alberto Muñoz-Prieto is a DVM researcher in the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Clinical Analysis Interlab-UMU, University of Murcia, Murcia, Spain. He obtained a Master’s degree in Small Animal Medicine, and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences from the University of Murcia in 2014 and 2019, respectively. Dr. Alberto Muñoz-Prieto’s main research areas include the evaluation of obesity-related biomarkers, the use of non-invasive assays using saliva as a sample, the development of high-sensitive assays for new biomarkers of obesity such as adiponectin, and the transdisciplinary approach of obesity between dog-owners and their dogs in the EU.
