Prof. Zhijun Tong is an Associate Professor and Master’s supervisor in Environmental Science at School of Environment, Northeast Normal University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Geography Science, Master’s degree in Regional Planning, and Doctoral degree in Environmental Management and Planning from Northeast Normal University. His research areas include: 1. Environmental disaster risk evaluation; 2. Evaluation of ecological safety.

Mazhar Baloch is an assistant professor at the College of Engineering, A’sharqiyah University, Ibra Oman. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and a master's degree in electrical power engineering (power engineering) from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology. He then completed his Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and post-doctoral fellowship at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. Before joining his current university, he taught at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, the Islamia University, and Swedish College of Engg & Tech RYK Punjab Pakistan. His research interests include areas of renewable energy management and sustainable energy development, especially in energy planning for sustainable development and wind energy modeling, power economics and management, and technological economic analysis, the control and stability of wind energy conversion systems, computational optimization techniques (Weibull/Rayleigh etc.), and hybrid energy systems (wind/solar/hydro power) with integration modeling and design.

Prof. Dr. Jiquan Zhang is a professor and master’s supervisor at the Institute of Natural Disaster Research, the School of Environment, Northeast Normal University. He completed his master’s studies in Physical Geography at the Department of Geography, Northeast Normal University, and his PhD studies at the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tottori University. He received his Bachelor’s degree at the School of Geography and Tourism, Linyi Normal College, Master’s and Doctoral degrees at the School of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Northeast Normal University. His research areas include: 1. Environmental disaster risk; 2. Forest and grassland fire risk; 3. Agro-meteorological disasters.
